Expect modest overclocking.
Looking for something that isn't too loud or gets too hot?

ENERMAX Whisper II 535 watt

Enermax makes excellent power supplies, very quiet and reasonably priced compared to PCP&C.

If I were you, I wouldn't waste money on a PCP&C. Although they are one of the best, their not worth the extra 100 or more dollars. It's ridiculous to spend 220 dollars on a power supply for anything other than a top of the line server or workstation.

A "Top Notch Power Supply" for an "Intense" system.. but under 100bucks...

People always spend hundreds of dollars on every component in their system, then want to limit themselves in the most important component of all: the one that actually powers the entire system, and delivers steady voltage during overclocking, and are completely relied upon to keep everything safe and functioning...

If anything, you should pick out the PSU FIRST- get what you need without regard for price. If it has to be under 100bucks, you won't necessarily get the "best" PSU.

Antec TPII-550 and TPII-480 might fit your bill. They're not PERFECT, but pretty good.

Not nesc. top notch, just one that'll run everything I'm trying to do and be fairly cool / quiet.

reason's because it's bad:

never heard of it
looks too cool for its own good, most off brands works on the looks rather than quality.
it's single 12v rail is questionably low
most off brands rates their psu to it's maximum wattage rather than a normal range.

I'm going to be using a DFI NF4 motherboard, I noticed your link had a specific post about what they reccomend for this motherboard, but I didn't see seasonic on there...

What about the Fortron 550W (EPS) FSP550-60PLN or the Enermax 535W (New) FMA ATX12V Ver2.01 535W ?

i would get the fortron 550watt. you better make sure you have enough volts on the 12volt rail for two vid cards in sli. not only that you better make sure they are stable 12volt rails.i wouldnt go with anything less then 500watts. dfi recommends 480watts just for the board and native 24 pin.
