I can get a Dell D1626HT (21" Trinitron, .24) for 429CDN ($265 US) with shipping and taxes included. The monitor is refurbished and straight from Dell's site. Is it a good deal (I don't have much money, I'm only a poor student on a budget...)

Thanks for your help

I don't actually need a 21" but that would be nice indeed for watching DVDs and playing games, internet... I can say that I spend a lot of time in front of my computer so a good monitor would be a good replacement for my Viewsonic E771(17") that I have now.

Is that one of those flat-screen CRT's? If so, then I say, YES.... you can find a new one for around 1000 dollars so 265 is a definite steal. If not, then I'm not sure.

I too would check out the warranty. Even if its a steal at 265, it will be worth nothing if it dies and you can't replace it.
