need your help finding sony vaio PCG-GR300 review

Is that the specific model number? It seems that it belongs to a series.

I would try searching CNET.com ePinions.com PCWorld.com ZDNet.com and Deja.com

I have some inside contacts at Sony which may be able to give you some reviews. I e-mailed them the model number you provided and they need the specific model you're looking for.

Do you have anything other than PCG-GR300?

Do you have a link to what it is you're looking at buying?

I think you should be searching for reviews on the GR250P model, instead of the series model number.

I did find this but it looks like no reviews just specs.

Here's a few GR250P posts but alas no reviews

I wouldn't buy directly from Sony, CostCo had a great deal on a Sony VAIO laptop for $1299 including docking station and loaded. I'd visit your local CostCo first.

You're welcome. That's a bummer that the nearest CostCo is over a 2 hour drive away

You could have bought the this loaded Sony laptop for $1,299 after rebate.

I just read some information that a friend sent me that scared me away from the vaio. Apparently she knows several people with vaio's that have had problems such as the battery only lasting about an hour!!!! She says that her toshiba will last about 3-4...

I could have told you to avoid Sony VAIO laptops. The two best laptops for your money are the Dell Inspiron 4100 or IBM ThinkPad T or R series. This question has been asked at least 100 times on here search the Hot Deals, General Hardware and Off Topic forums for laptop and/or notebook and you'll find hours of reading.
