Well I don't know if the mods care or not, but that's friggin expensive! You're out of your mind if you think I'm paying that much for those limited features.

Yes, it most certainly is expensive compared to other hosts out there.

I'm assuming you're affiliated with it. I'm also assuming unlimited bandwidth?

The best deal I found looking for this stuff was at http://www.csoft.net Unlimited pop mail boxes and mysql databases in addition to virtual hosting of multiple domains on the same account clinched the deal for me. (Not to mention php4 & 3 and phplib)

Regards,

Me.

I think this company has spammed the forums before. Your presence is not welcome here. Show some dignity.

Somebody was pushing that site at fatwallet...they got locked for self promotion.

But I use FrontServe for NT/2000
and HostRocket for Linux Hosting..

Both are really good...especially HostRocket!

The best price I've seen is digitalspace.net . In my experience, however, you get what you pay for. My email has been inaccessible for days on end without explanation or compensation. The web pages are accessible *most* of the time. Then again, what do you expect for $3 a month?

So what is better bluebox or lightspeed. I just registered my domain name at namezero for 19.00. I thought that was cheap-darn. Anyway I need to host my domain name- can you guys give me some suggestions. I need about 25megs of space an decent allowable traffic. Its geared towards education.

Sincerely,
The Clocker

$19 is not cheap, next time register at registerfly.com for $9.99

at lightspeedservers.net you get 25MB for $2.50 a month but
you only get 1GB of traffic which is enough for most sites.
additional traffic is $3 per GB.
If you have more than one GB/month you should get the $70 a year deal at blueboxinternet.com
with all extras and great speed (under $6 a month). (eurocomix.com is hosted there)
you can write them at 2am on a sunday morning and get a reply within 30 minutes, never
found a better service out there.

hope this helps...
