Hey guys I?m going to be brief and just give you the quick and the dirty.

1. My uncle recently passed away very unexpectedly. He was writing a book at the time which he completed 95% of, my father (his brother) took over the project and the book will be published within 14 days.

Here is my Uncles company just incase you think this is some farce. Geofon.com They also speak about his death in the current news section.

2. Currently the website is up but when I saw it I was VERY disappointed it was horrendous. I have taken it upon myself to help make it better and more presentable. The book that is going to be published makes references to this webpage so we want it to look good.

The current webpage

3. As you can see it is very unimpressive and the tiled windows background was just insult to injury...
I think a total of 6-9 pages will be needed and the content and everything is already there.

4. All I really want is something that looks professional and decent, no sound but maybe soem basic flash in the intro, and a better menu background etc. I leave it completely up to you.

5. BUT I must see some examples of your work or what you are capable off.

6. All you need to do is send me your name and an example of your work to jkhan@vt.edu and I will forward you my contact info and we can hopefully move from there.

7. Payment is negotiable but of course also dependant on the work that you do. But the MINIMUM you will get is 400, but if it?s a great webpage I?m sure it will be MUCH higher.

This is VERY serious and important to my father so please try not to thread crap and help us out guys.

Thank you very much.

They already paid some gentlemen $500 for it out of a total of $1000 budget... when I saw it I said we need to release this "developer" and find somebody else.

If you can install mambo on that server, u can get many templates for free... I am in the process of porting my Home theater website to it (in my sig) but havent started to edit the graphics yet but you can get an idea of what it can do... plus once you get the basic layout done its a breeze to add content.

I'm getting back home on Sunday but I'd gladly do it for more on the cheaper end for an AT'er. I've worked with international gaming companies and lots of other websites in designing and publishing. If you are still interested and haven't found someone to help you out just let me know :)

Agreed. But for a "professional" business website that's pretty freakin' bad.
