need virus help

I need help with a possible virus.

McAfee says that I am clean, I have the latest anti-virus along with their personal firewall plus and their privacy service.

Here is what is happening. My scroll wheel only works part of the time. My browser (firefox) is acting like it has a mind of its own. It randomly goes back and forth between pages, and scrolls up and down at will. I am having to type this message in Microsoft word because it is even taking me back and forth in the message window.

The scroll thing is happening in Word also.

Are there any viruses out there that could do this, and evade McAfee detection?

You were right, I just plugged in my cheapo USB scroll mouse and it works fine, but the scroll wheel won't work...oh well.

Looks like I have a RMA in my future. Damn you logitech! This is the MX900 with my dinovo set too...I expect better with the former top of the line mouse.

BTW - my review of the mouse -

Not precise at all. My first gen optical mouse is more accurate. Battery life sucks. my 1700 MAH NIMH batteries get about 3 days between charges. The batteries are Sanyo and are brand new.

MX 900 - 1/10 stars - pathetic product. Would return the whole set but it is out of return policy...

lol I'm sorry D22 but I kind of thought it was funny.

When I replied the first time, you didn't have a subtitle. Shortly after when I refreshed you had: "EDIT - DO NOT BUY MX900 MOUSE IT SUCKS"

lol - sorry I thought that was funny.
