Need Video Card, Mobo, And CPU

I need a CPU & Mobo and a video card.
I rip[ alot of DVDs and I game. Gaming is more important to me, I had a 3000+ and 6800GT and it didn't cut it. I could only play COD2 at 10 x 7 with max everything. I want to play at 12 x 10 with max everything. I also rip and burn alot of DVDs, so I would like an x2

I need a CPU, MOBO, and Video card.
I think I want a dual core cpu
I want a high quality mobo for overclocking...not some free evga pos
I also need high quality sound, so if some azalia or HD sound is included, I can go to $800 on teh package

here u see a sli mobo bundled with a 7800gt thats factory overclocked for $350
thats what im in the process of buying right now. evga is solid customer support if anything is shadey.

Does anyone know more about the karajam audio? I think I'm gonna give it a try and wait before I get a sound card.

For video, how can I not wait a week and see what nVidia brings to the table. Visions of a hard launch and 7900gt > 7800gtx and only $300 dance through my head like sugarplum freakin fairies or something.

Oh, and after researching the reviews...a 7800gt isn't enough of a boost. If 7900gt doesn't come out I'm gonna blow the sh!t out of my budget and get a 1900xt.
So, is the ultra d still ok with the ati card? Or do I need to go look at an ati mobo?

Isnt the release of 7900 series supposed to push 7800 prices down?

You might be able to do 2 x 7800GT in SLI. Although a 1900XT would offer better upgradability with crossfire.

But also with crossfire comes the need for a diff board as well. The 1900XT would work with the DFI board but no SLI now if you get a crossfire board and want to kill ur budget get 2 1900s and do a crossfire setup.

I ordered a 165 opty and the lanparty ultra d from tankguys today fro $481 shipped. I want to wait until next week to see what happens with the nvidia cards before I order.

7900GT is supposed to be 24 pipelines, but only 450Mhz and $299 MSRP. At 90nm, I'd say there is a good chance it will overclock pretty well. I think this is probably what you're looking for, if not get a 7800gt which should get pretty cheap.
