i havent ocd in a while so i'm out of the loop. but i'm catching up on some info. seeing as how my mobo's capacitors are leaking, im expecting it to die some time soon.
i'm still not sure whether or not i'm going to get the asrock with dualddr/ddr2 compatibility or the gigabyte ds3, but i digress
i recently purchased an e4300 and i'm in the process of picking other parts out
i currently have thissuperflower/ttgi psu
it's been good to me and it's fairly new. i've only had it for approx. a year, but it's a pretty outdated psu model.
the question is whether or not i should buy a new psu for this upgrade as i'm on a tight budget. are there new requirements for dual core cpus/ddr2/p965 boards/pciex16? and i don't really plan to use sli anytime soon if that's a factor.
any advice would be appreciated
EDIT: i went ahead and purchased the hx520w corsair for $85@zzf
(despite the triple 12vrails warning)
and a 2gb xms2 kit
i'm still waiting for the rev3.3 ds3 price to come down a little bit
any recommendations for video cards? preferrably under $100. i've been looking for cheap 7600gt's. there's an evga for $90 AR at newegg, but i'm not sure if i should pull the trigger yet
