Need V-card advice for dual monitors

A friend of mine needs advice on the best v-card to run his 2 LCD monitors. He has a 17" NEC and a 21" Samsung and wants to run both of them using their DVI-D interface using a single v-card. His use of both monitors will be primarily 2D -- he's not a gamer -- and he'd like to keep the cost of the v-card below about $200. He obviously wants to get the best, most up-to-date card for the money. One important wrinkle is that his computer is a Dell Dimension 8200 (2.27GHz P4, 1.5GB PC800 RDRAM, AGP4x, 250W Dell power supply) with whatever limitations there may be with that system. Any suggestions as to chipset/manufacturer and actual model would be most welcome. We're particularly concerned about the effects of faster or slower GPU clock speed and the amount of onboard RAM for the proposed use.

If needed, here's a link to the specifications for the Dell Dimension 8200:

Thanks.

Get a dual-DVI NVidia based board. From what I've personally seen, NV's multi-display configuration is easier to use and more robust.
