If this the first time you'reseen this error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appear again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly Installed hard drives or hrd drive controllers, check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.

Run chkdsk /f to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Are the computers similar types (chipsets, etc)?

I got that error when I moved from my MSI K7-Turbo to my Tyan S2660 dual board.

I'm sorry to say that I had to reformat.

Agreed. This is likely due to different hardware between your 2 PCs... If you changed your mobo you will have to reformat (most likely)...

Any other suggestions? I have many importance files in this hard drive. If reformatted, I would lost all data.
System #1 : Intel CA810 w/ 810 chipset MB.
System #2 : ECS L7SOM w/ SIS740 chipset MB.
For the future, in case of changing motherboard to different chipset, I have to reformat and lost all data!!!!

You're probably getting a STOP 7B, not a STOP 78.

It's because the OS doesn't have the drivers for the disk controller.

Put the drive back into the first motherboard, install drivers for the disk controller of the second motherboard, then move the drive.

or you can temporarily install both drives (if it's an option).
