Toshba satelite A35 (PA3299?) needs a new cpu fan maybe.
going to install motherboard monitor to check temps but is there a
disassembly guide with photos anywhere? for chnging the cpu fan..

edit: its not the cpu fan but does appear to be heat related.

Get a full set of Torx bits and some jewler's screwdrivers. Also, multiple sets of tweezers and needlenose pliers.

And stay grounded.

thanks seer.
so the twin fans visible from the bottom are the cpu cooling ?
those are working fine..they blow really hot air..

maybe the slowdowns are from software polution.
theres no cpu voltage or other control in the bios, oi wonder if the cpu voltage is high.

is the shutdown form a the battery charge?
last nite it was at 34% this morn it was at 7% and beeping...i plugged in the AC cable now
it just shuts off after a minute or 2.

guess i need to charge the battery for a bit?
will it run from AC or just charge the batt. ?

my first laptop experience as u may have noticed.

edit: added item to the OP.

ah... it seems to be the infamous toshiba heatsink blockage issue.
the toshiba EZ-Clog design is a constant problem for nearly every toshiba
owner it seems.
