My cousin works with me locally and she is trying to get an apartment. I need to write a letter basically stating how much she earns a week/month and how long she has been working for me.

Anybody have an idea of how i can go about this. I want it to look as professional as possible.

Please and thank you.

Why complicate it?

_______ Apartment Management,

____ ______ has been working here at _______ for ____ years and ____ months. Her current wage is _____/week. If any other information is needed please let me know.

Thank you,

Company letterheard

To Whom it may concern,

Employee is currently employed by Company XYZ with a current salary of X dollars per hour/day/week/year. This amount does/does not reflect daily/weekly/monthly/yearly bonus or commission of X dollars. Employee is due for their next annual/semi-annual salary salary increase in XX days/weeks/months.

Best Regards

either tfinch or doze's wording will work since the leasing agent(s) really wanna know your cousin's income (i think the rule of thumb is still gross monthly income has to be 3x the monthly rent) and length of employment (although in some cases that isn't a big deal). just don't forget to use company letterhead (like doze suggested); find out the leasing manager's name & business address...and address the letter to him/her; include your direct ph # (or cell ph #). should be a piece of cake.
