need to upgrade omnibook ex2 laptop

I have an older omnibook ex2 laptop... works fine, but needs a harddrive. The problem is the connector from the harddrive to the laptop is missing (i have the caddy just no connector). I can't find this connector anywhere,,, i have checked ebay,, Hp's parts web site. Anybody know if i can get a generic part ? Or a place/website that sells this ?

any help would be greatly be appreciated.
