I have read that a 1-page resume is best, so I think I am going to go that route, I am just wondering if anyone has a good template or knows of one I can use. Or any other suggestions.

I am an licensed electrician, I have a BS in Tech management, six sigma green belt. I have it down to about 1 page

I am wondering if there is a program or a website, where you enter in all your information for a resume, and then you click on different themes or templates or layouts and it will produce a .doc file in that formatting

I think 2 pages are okay if you have different experiences that are relevant to what you're seeking

Where did you read that? Unless you just graduated college that's completely false.

Template? Check out the Word templates, just don't use an objective statement. Please put experience before education and don't say "References available upon request."

The designs on Loft Resumes might be a little too "designy" for your profession, but they do what you're asking I believe.
