now it's hooked up to my audio card. Wasn't sure if the program is using the onboard audio or not
 
mine works but uses my webcam instead of my mic for sound input. It sounds surprisingly decent.
 
TTT anyone got this? I don't have a mic but I do have speakers. I'd like to see how clear it is. Give me a call, nocternal is my user name.

and after this beta stage, will this go into a pay model?

btw, 'echo123' is the microphone test for skype, just add to userlist and call em

It uses a central server for the screen name database and what not but the actual calls are peer to peer. I don't think it will be a pay service, it will be like AIM or any messenger app out there except its live voice.
