Belive it or not, but tommoro I get a chance to speak with the manager of all sales and advertisements over at ATI. Im guessing that he knows a lot about what goes on at ATI, and mabye he knows about some future products. Neways, Im just wondering what I should specifically ask him, in terms of release dates, refresh cards etc... Any suggestions? If im going to speak with this guy I want to try to get some info out of him lol😛
 
ask him/her why the retail cards never have those cool fan stickers(wolves, etc) that all the review sites get on their testing cards.
 
i'm meeting nvidia's CEO tomorrow. gonna try and get a free sample 6800Ultra out of him for my going to the trouble of meeting him. not to mention try and get him to leak all the NV future plans to me, an absolute nobody because i just want to know.
 
Ask him if any of the features from the new X800 line will filter down to the R300 series. I'm particularly interested in 3DC, the new "brilinear" optimizations, and the new AA algorhythm.

Another thing to ask, since he's in sales and marketing, is what he expects the street price of the X800, the XT, and the new 8-pipe version to be a month or so after release once the prices stabilize. :beer:
 
Ask him whether or not he thinks this guy going by the name of i82lazyboy is being an ass or not 😛
 
You should ask about when they're realeasing a video card with Shader 3.0 I saw a picture of farcry utilizing that and nearly passed out.
