Need to split an AVI File?

Hi. I have a gigantic AVI file that I would like to chop in half into two seperate files. Is there any way i can do this and if so where can i download the program? A freeware program that is compatible with win2k would help. Thanks

AVI Chop will do can handle all your AVI chopping needs. It can be found at DivX.com under Downloads (video).

VirtualDub should do the job and it is free.

Another program that can chop a file into any size you want is hjsplit. It can split up any file type. The only thing here is with an avi file, you would have to put all the pieces back together to play the file again.

It is another free program and may be with checking out at www.freebyte.com. It is a small program and very easy to use.
