I need to save a few small txt files as a .tar file. Google is confusing me and I can't find something to do this for me like it is possible w/ a zip

How do I save 4 txt files into a .tar?
 
7zip? I know you can read a tar file with it so i would assume it works the other way. The website says its an archiver but I have yet to use it for that.
