Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get the cheapest rate, which city pairs would be the cheapest, etc.? So far the cheapest I can find is about $500.

(I'm well aware about the surcharge on one way driving)

((Flying is NOT an option - we already have a second car for the OTHER 4 people))

500/4 = 125. Add in gas and all that goos shit, and that's like what....$150 a person?

Flyyyy.

They need to save as much money as possible. Hookers and Blow are expensive over there. :)

STILL FLY

Southwest has one way tickets to vegas for about $100 after tax.

So any valid suggestions? There are 8 of us total. And the point of this whole thing was TO DRIVE. We have to stop in Denver. Any advice on car rentals? Thanks.

So you're going to need a van / suburban type thing?

Are you moving down there? Or are you just going to drive one way and walk back?

Try to set up http://www.autodriveaway.com/ or something similar. I did the same roadtrip last summer (going the other way, incl. stop in Denver) but didn't have time to set up a driveaway, so I had to rent. Ended up costing me something like $700 for the week.
