Need to remove heatsink on 6800gt

I need to reseat the heatsink on my 6800gt before it overheats!
Unfortunately I've never removed a gpu heatsink so I could use some pointers.
I have 70% isopropyl alcohol, but it's got some wintergreen thing going on. Is it ok to use, or should I just play it safe and try to procure some without wintergreen stuff?

I'd pass on the additives in the cleaner myself. The grease will let go better if the HS is warm. You can do that by running the card for a while and then pulling it before it cool down much or use a hair dryer to heat it up. I've done both and they both work.
