pipe wrench.

if that doesnt work, buy a LEFThand drillbit.

put your drill in reverse, drill it out.

eventually the bolt will turn with the bit, and come out
(if youre lucky :) )

Have you concidered using an easyout? Basically you drill a small hole in the top center of the bolt, then turn the easyout tool into the hole in a counterclockwize direction. When you turn it in as far as it will go, it should continue to turn but with the screw with it. You can pick them up at any hardware store, Home Depot, or Lowes etc.

When the flat edges of a bolt head get rounded off (by rust), you are going to have difficulty getting the bolt out no matter what you do...... Mostly because the bolt's threads are probably rusted solid. Using an easy-out may work, but most people will break the easy-out off in the drilled hole....particularly if you've never done this type of repair before. Once an easy-out is broken off in a hole, you are SOL. They don't drill out very easily.

I'd suggest you take it to a mechanic or dealer....usually costs 1/2 hour labor or so.

Here's how I usually have to fix this type of problem: Drill off the head of the bolt. Drill out the entire length of the bolt's threads. Re-tap the hole with an appropriate sized tap. Permanent fix....

get a dremel, cut a slot if you cant get a hack saw into it.

get one of those screw out things, it's like a drill bit that drills and then bites into the part BACKWARDS... so it actually spins it in the other direction and unscrews...

of course you could aways use the dremel and flatten 2 sides and use a wrench on that...
