Need to remote switch AC power off/on with a PC

I have a project where I need to power off/on several AC out-lets with a PC. I'm currently using just regular wall timers which work fine, but they need to be in synch and power off/on at the same time. They are also in tough to get locations and it's hard to reschedule the time.

There are wireless remote controlled AC switches, and this is getting closer, but it needs to be something I can schedule on a PC and forget about.

If anybody knows a product like this point me to it.

If its just a schedule you need, and not actual remote on/off ability, just look into the Z-wave stuff. Intermatic recently stopped making Z-wave stuff and you might still be able to find their closeouts very cheap. Look on amazon and ebay. Remotes (with timer functions) run from $15-$100, and wall sockets or lamp modules run from $15 to $70 each. The Z-wave tech is far more reliable than the older X10 tech.

Several units can be combined to a single group, which can be turned on/off at any time you choose.
