Maybe people wouldn't give you such a hard time about this if you actually posted some proof that this business exists, like those newspaper articles.

Or if the OP wasn't a toolbox.

LOL that is fantastic. OP, you aren't just a tool. You are a multitude of tools. I LOVE IT!

OK I'll take that out.

Ah, so thanks for the link to the article about you.

Just so you know, that paper has circulation of about 55,000. A little off from your claims that would imply it was the Post-Dispatch.

OMG! What a concidence. Let me FW this e-mail to you from my current Investment opportunity. I've been dealing with this Nigerian Prince for only a week and have had to upfront some money, but the Payoff is awesome!!

Hello greatest of acquantices,

I have the hearty some of $33 million I wish to share at your purveyance with no stringage attached. However I must say it is locked in the Nation Bank of Nigeria by its former owner. If you would provide me a simple transaction fee along with your routing an account number so I may deposit the $33 million whereas you may keep $3 million for your troubalege up my withdrawing the remainder. Please let me know fortwith.

God Bless,

Rev. Rudder Mokimbe.

I don't know where he found it, but you can confirm it by searching for the name of the paper on google and looking at their employer info page on CareerBuilder (~7th result on Google).

So from what I gather on your website, this company is not actually doing anything yet? Why not? It looks like you've developed at least some of the functionality already. I think if you started operating the website and established a user base that hopefully would grow at a steady pace, you'd probably have an easier time getting people to invest.

1.5million? Where did that come from?

Yea, just a few years ago, last I actually checked the stats, their circulation was huge. I remember reading that the paper was going downhill, but yea, I didn't even realize circulation was that poor. LOL, even I lol'd at them. internet news ftw.

Yea, most of the functionality is there, and I've been working on it in my spare time. Part of why I want to raise the money is so I can pull a modest salary and work on it fulltime. I've only got about 15% left of the app to develop, and the hardest parts are already out of the way. I want to also pay for hosting services, buy a bladeframe, etc.

I have $4.00 left over from a previous windfall ready to blow on a hot startup. Let me know. I have PayPal. 🙂

This has nothing to do with my thread. I've validated what I've said to those who asked for it (via pm). I'm not going to announce the "details at" a public forum.
