Maybe people wouldn't give you such a hard time about this if you actually posted some proof that this business exists, like those newspaper articles.

Or if the OP wasn't a toolbox.

Seems like circulation of your local paper has dropped by 50% in a little over 2 weeks...

Ah, so thanks for the link to the article about you.
Just so you know, that paper has circulation of about 55,000. A little off from your claims that would imply it was the Post-Dispatch.

Hello greatest of acquantices,
I have the hearty some of $33 million I wish to share at your purveyance with no stringage attached. However I must say it is locked in the Nation Bank of Nigeria by its former owner. If you would provide me a simple transaction fee along with your routing an account number so I may deposit the $33 million whereas you may keep $3 million for your troubalege up my withdrawing the remainder. Please let me know fortwith.
God Bless,

I don't know where he found it, but you can confirm it by searching for the name of the paper on google and looking at their employer info page on CareerBuilder (~7th result on Google).
So from what I gather on your website, this company is not actually doing anything yet? Why not? It looks like you've developed at least some of the functionality already. I think if you started operating the website and established a user base that hopefully would grow at a steady pace, you'd probably have an easier time getting people to invest.
