NEED TO KNOW WHAT KINDA MOBO is in a DELL XPS 700

I need to know what kinda mobo is in the DELL XPS 700 and what ones I can replace it with

found out that it is a
Chipset:

nForce 590

but not able to find any mobos of that type on newegg.. please help me out

Dell's use OEM motherboards that are often not exactly to standard formfactors. It is usually not possible to replace a motherboard in a Dell except with a Dell replacement. The reason why there are not any nForce 590 boards on newegg is because they have been phased out and obsoleted.

What are the other specs of your system? You could probably salvage a good amount of parts and build a new system.

Yes...we'll you answered my question.. that's what I will end up doing after I get back from vacation.. is end up keeping my sound card, hard drives, and just building from their.. it's time for an update anyways 🙂

the case is pretty huge.. hoping I can keep that

IIRC, that's a BTX form factor, which makes things a bit difficult.

False. It is usually possible to replace a motherboard in a Dell with a non-Dell replacement. Dell almost always uses standardized motherboards except in its slim chassis, including the BTX motherboard being discussed (which was a standard, BTW, just not a widely adopted or popular one).

Yeah but BTX motherboards are few and far between.

I think almost non-existant for AMD processors and limited to the likes of Intel and DELL only for Intel processors.
