Ok I am looking at 2 boards I am sick of MSI and while I liked my Biostar it killed my 80 gig so now its out. So here are the options I like so far. I like Albatron just because they seem to go the extra mile on there graphics cards so maybe they also do so on there MB's. Anyway I am on a limited budget (not over 100 and I don't want to wait it has to be in my hand tomorrow afternoon so I can get my desktop back up and get myother MB back out to the Forum user I got it from. Anyway here is a link to both the other is a Gigabyte and I have had good luck with them in the past esp with AMD Athlons. Anyway here we go. (oh and I am looking for the best overclocker, I will be ading water cooling soon and I want to hit 2.8 or more. 2.4 has been my highest so far with the biostar stable. Out of these boards I need it to have good vcore voltage options and FSB options. I know someone out there can help someone who is switching from the laptop side to the desktop side, thanks guys.)

Albatron VIA Chipset

Gigabyte nForce2 Chipset

I am looking at others so I may add to this, thanks guys!

Ok I found a Shuttle MB, know nothing about them so I turn to you but it is nForce2

Shuttle nForce2 Chipset

Ok after reading a review on the shuttle it seems to have the options I like but I am losing some like sata. Oh well I guess it ill just motivate me to switch to an A64 when I want to go to SATA or a new motherboard all together. Anyway It goes above 1.85 on the VCORE and 250 on the FSB settings. So it seems like a good over clocker. I am now looking up the others but at the price of the shuttle it seems like it may be a good deal.

LOL. But still let me know what u guys think, again I am just under the restrant of finding something here in tucson/phoenix az.

if your looking for an xp mb go with the nforce2 for sure. I would recommend either an nf7-s v 2.0 by abit, or the dfi infinity nforce2 board. Both are great boards to oc with. Both have sata. Both are under 100$ at newegg.
