Need to know a little about Charles Shultz (sp?)

I am doing an inclass essay on Shultz, creator of Peanuts tomorrow (she let us know today) and it has to be on "courage." But it has to be on Atticus' (from To Kill a Mockingbird) definition of courage. That being,

I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but what you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes do. Mrs. Dubose won, all ninety-pounds of her. According to her views, she died beholden to nothing and nobody. She was the bravest person I knew.

I'm basically going to say how he knew he was getting old and he wanted to finish up his comic strip.. Anyone know something beneficial about him that could bring up a point or could be used as an example for an essay?

There's a lot more to him than just the end of his career. He went through a lot to get where he was. Look up some back issues of the San Francisco Chronicle, free on the net, around the date of his death. Chron Lots of columnists did tributes, there were lots of articles.
