Need to have one envelope (regular #10 size with 2 pages) to be post mark today but USPS is closed for Columbus day.

Are there other options? UPS, FedEx? Santa? Anyone? TIA.

Strictly speaking, none of those will qualify as "postmarked," because they aren't the Post Office.

Who is demanding that the envelope be postmarked today? Will it suffice that it be delivered tomorrow instead?

More likely, the receiver wants evidence that the item/paperwork was sent on/before the 14th.

Any method of shipping that will give you a receipt dated the 14th should be acceptable if you have to dispute.

TBH i didnt know today was a USPS holiday
im at work i assume everyone else is also at work

One thing you learn early on in life - USPS is closed for every single holiday and then some. If it is super important, make sure to look (better yet, just get it out as soon as possible).

A pharmacy near me has a USPS "office" in it. It's run by some old lady and she works holidays. Have anything similar near you?

Automated postal machine or print your postage online using PayPal/Pitney Bowes/Amazon/etc.

The other thing you learn is that there is pretty much no longer any reason to use the USPS for anything, ever.

And yet another thing you learn is buying a book for Forever Stamps is a scam. By the time you need to use a second one, you've lost the book because it's been that long.

1. Open https://tools.usps.com/go/POLocatorAction!input.action

2. Select "Self Service Kiosks" under "Location Type" and enter your location...

3. Drive to Kiosk, Print Priority Mail Shipping Label with today's date and drop in the Mail...

4. Profit!

Unless the OP is entering the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes, I can't imagine something requiring the actual mailing of documents anymore. Almost every bill can be paid electronically (except rent... for some stupid reason, but you don't generally mail that anyway). So, what time sensitive information is the OP sending? Chances are there was an electronic alternative available for most things. Also, why did the OP procrastinate for so long to send it? That is the real question.
