Just remember, folks, most trouble codes are probably just "computer glitches"and don't mean you actually need to look under the hood.
Also, if the car runs really badly, but still runs, don't waste your time or money trying to fix it. Wait until something major fails before taking it to a mechanic. When you do so, be sure to coat the engine in filthy oil first. Mechanics just LOVE that stuff. You'll probably get a price break!
Finally, studies have shown that preventative maintenance is just a waste of money. Oil, belts, coolant, tires, spark plugs and wires are ALL lifetime items, despite what everyone says.
If you follow these rules, and your car breaks down, it must have been a crappy car to begin with. Argue with the dealership until they agree to fix everything under warranty. Don't let them make any excuses!
