I have a nice INWIN Q2000 server case with dual/redundant 300w PowerMan power supplies.
Currently I'm running a dual p2 400 setup.
About 3 months ago I decided to go with an single CPU Athlon...
Unfortunately my power supply was not "AMD Approved", and when I tried to run the new T-bird and board I picked up, my experience was quite unpleasant. Everything was crashing and blue screening: Games, Windows, AIM, etc.
I sold the setup to someone who had an "AMD Approved" PS and he reported everything worked fine. My friend was experiencing similar problems, but once he bought an "AMD Approved" power supply, his machine worked fine.
I'm looking to move to a Dual Athlon Setup, but only if I can find a dual/redundant "AMD Approved" power supply for my case. I refuse to dump my current case(cost me $200 about 3 years ago), and I **Need** the 10+ power connectors that the dual power supply offers. I also don't want to have another case hanging around, so buying a separate case is NOT an option.
If anyone knows of an "AMD Approved" Dual/Redundant Power supply, I'd really like some help...
