Is there any service that lets you do it for free? All I need to do is send 1 document via fax. I will never need it again.

i use myfax.com -- you can sign up for the free trial, fax a couple hundred pages, then cancel. it's only $10/mo afterwards.

Library, UPS Store, Kinkos, USPS, etc... They have fax machines you can use.

no  -- it's competely done through the internet, just upload your word document, pdf, tiff, whatever and it transmits a fax. you also have a dedicated fax number, so when you get a fax, it arrives in your inbox.

If you never got anything good and free, I have a faxthruemail account... PM me, I'm not going to read it (as I don't read all the junk faxes I already get).
