Need to export a Premiere Pro Project.

I know nothing about encoding or exporting in Premiere. I want to render a file in Premiere. I don't want the file to be horrendously huge or small. I want the quality to be good, so when I use another Editor, it's impossible to distinguish that I used Premiere to do certain scenes.

1. Why two editors: Vegas Editing is much easier and I'm still learning Premiere (Been disinclined to learn it since I never could figure out how to export anything @ a reasonable size/Quality ratio).
2. Vegas's default WMV rendering is perfect for DVD's and YouTube in Quality:Size Ratio. I wish Premiere would allow me to use those options but I don't understand enough about rendering to do so.

I would very much like to once and for all have a way to render a video in Vegas.

I currently have a 20 second FRAPS recorded clip. It renders on Premiere currently at 1+GB at a worse quality than a 3MB render using Vegas. I want the video to be MUCH smaller, but still look good.

If anyone would kindly please help... I would really appreciate it.

Sorry if my English and terminology was hard to understand. ;)

There really is no easy way to do this, just play with the codecs untill you find one that you like size and quality. DIVX maybe? Try dvd format.

I was testing the "Adobe Media Encoder" and I swear, all of the video turns out somewhat pixelated.. I mean there are no smooth edges. I tried copying Vegas's default export settings... No luck.

I'm also having problems with Premiere. Whenever I try to export my project, no matter what format I choose, there's always an unknown error. :(

I've had so many problems but am determined to try and find a solution. I'd be perfect to see someone elses exported options ;).

All I need is a template to work from. Creating a FRAPS video and putting it on YouTube. I'd like to keep the quality, but don't want a 500gb file sitting on my desktop.

Default Resolution for fraps is: 720x480.

move this to software forum you might have the answer. I am using Premiere Pro 2.0 right now but I have not render/encode/export just yet until I am done with clips merge and cutting then I will figure out.
