Need to choose a research topic for animal behavior

I need to choose a research topic for an animal behavior class.

I initially chose the Nile Crocodile and it's social behaviors, but wasn't able to come up with too much info so I switched.

Now my topic is Siberian Tigers and their Social behavior.

Do you suggest any other type of animals, that have lots of scientific and popular information on it ?

some others I thought about were wolves and moneys, but didn't really interest me much.

hmm.. some ideas that come to mind

species of birds that mate for life

wolves, pack behavior (just realized you menioned that one -- at least I think it's cool)

lions - male / female roles

salmon - swimming upstream to find exact place where they born to die

I'll post more if i think of them

Nice suggestions,
I need to come up with a topic that I can write 8-10 pages on regarding their behavior.
