Need to buy some AP test study books...please recommend some brands (only if you bought the book for that particular subject and found it helpful)...

The classes im taking are English AP, Biology AP, Calculus AB/BC AP i need ap test study books for all of them

GET THE PRINCETON REVIEW SERIES for the CALC AP test... I used it and it's one awesome helper.. It's fun to read too, cause' it makes fun of the crappy AP test.

I got a 4 on my AP Calc test after reading it when I got a 2 on the AP practice test two days before...

For bio get Cliff Notes. It was the best when I took the class (96-97).

get the arco book for the AP english lang. its pretty detailed and serious (good in my opinion..)

i stayed away from the princeton review books, they didnt seem as content oriented when compared to other books, such as barrons. not serious enough for me...

I second the princeton review for the Calc. I also have the Cliff's AP Biology book. I wasn't to big on studying but I crammed/skimmed it before I took the test and got a 4. Excellent condition and it retails for $17. Since I am in college now, I'd let it go for...$10 shipped? If your interested PM, and I got heatware under aolsuxs.

just a few words of advice - hopefully u already know.

take a look at the general catalog of the university you are hoping to attend to figure what your AP's are worth. it will certainly guide you in deciding which tests to take and how much to study for them.

im a polisci major - just bout done - at ucla
i.e.:

bio - 5
chem - 5
phys - 4
did me really good in getting through lots of the GEs;

however my
eng lang - which i got a 3 on didnt help me much - if i had gotten a 4 i coulda skipped out of an english class
and
hist - 3 - if i had gotten a 4 woulda been soo much better for me - coulda skipped out of 2 history classes.
econ - 4 gave me some general units
span lang - 3 - i think passed me out of the language requirement.

but u can see that it really varies from school to school and that often a "passing" 3 really doesnt suffice.
