FYI: This will be w/stock cooling
Now, I have the PE BIOS, so its 700/1600 in 3D mode, but CCC wont let me OC mem past 1600 and the core doesnt seem to like above 700 as it causes me to freeze.
I'm pretty sure I need more voltage, but I have a few questions:
A. How much voltage does the card easily take? Do I need to worry about the card being damaged if it's not overheating? Usually overvolting is damaging the card even if its not overheating, but I seem to be seeing peoples cards take voltage well due to the 90nm process(?)
B. What program should I use? ATITool OCs the 2D settings as well... is that OK?
C. Reserved for when I remember something else I wanted to ask.
Thank you SO much for all your help and time.
I'd like to add that OCing x1800 cards is a royal pain compared to NV
