Hi all, I need the vaunted ATOT effect to get my survey response count up to stat. significant levels. I am working to identify how we use or don't use GPS services. I am not selling anything and guarantee this thing takes little time and doesn't ask for personal info. There are no pop-ups and no advertising. Just a simple survey... Thanks in advance. Unfortunately, as a student, my funds are running low. May have to pay for a double-opt in mailing list if I can't get responses from forums that I lurk. Most off-topic so far is goal line blitz 😛

I initially came to Taiwan to teach English for a change of pace after working behind the PC for 9 years. I chose Taiwan because my old job had me working with a Taiwanese professor from Academia Sinica. When I talked to him about my desire to take a year away from the PC to teach English somewhere, he suggested Taiwan might be good. He turned out to be a great support system..... When I landed, I found out my bank cards were not useable in Asia (f'ing little ace credit unions!!!)... anyway, he gave me a hand and I wired money over. Really a lifesaver.

I stayed in Taiwan for the Masters to continue practicing Chinese which is still crap. Damn hardest language in the world!
 
I'm a student, and my GPS is my fail-safe if I take a wrong turn somewhere. Answered what I could though.

Oh, and holy fucking epic lurker.
 
Done, but I found it difficult to answer some of the questions. We have both an executive dining room (open to all employees via reservation) and a regular ol' cafeteria, so when my co-workers and i make choices on which "restaurants" to eat at, 98 times out of 100 it is the cafeteria, 1 time out of 100 it is the executive dining, and 1 time out of 100 it is hooters...
