I'm going through Bowman, Siddiqi, and Tanuan's "Concrete Architecture of the Linux Kernel"
but I'm coming across some concepts and terms with which I'm unfamiliar (i.e. backing store).

Is there a technical reference site that I could use while reading through the paper?
