Ok, ive been thinking about this for a while right now about posting this up on here. My problem is my motherboard right now i think is fried...i honestly dont know, i have been trying to build my first new custom computer for the past god knows how long...now i need your guys' input on a good motherboard provided my following specs that must be a part of it:

Supports Intel P4 Socket 478
PC3200 Memory slots...
1 AGP 8x/4x slot
PCI slots...any amount doesnt matter...NOT EXPRESS
Obviously must be intel pentium compatible.

and if you guys need any more specifications to help ya out...then ill be glad topost it up...im looking for another one since i cant find one at the current moment =/
 
Have you tried posting with the board on a non conductive surface, such as a phonebook or the box it came in? Try this with just the cpu/heatsink, video, and one stick of memory. Be sure to use the atx, p4 12v, and power switch connections. Motherboards are pretty tough, unless you dropped something on it or burned a connection.
