Trying to build a budget gaming rig. Gonna upgrade to a more powerful card sometime in the future, for now I believe this one should do me fine playing at 1280x1024 on most games. No overclocking at all. What do you suggest?

Thanks.

Looks like a good gaming rig to me. I would get the Premium for Vista though.

Why Premium instead of Basic?

Basic is a waste. You dont get all the nice bells and whistles with it. No Aero!!! Dont be a cheapskate pay the few extra bucks for the goods!

The PSU is overkill, even a 450w Fortron would suffice, but it's definitely a great PSU. Also, I personally would go with Home Premium, but if you don't want the extra features or don't think you're going to use them anyway, there's really no point in spending the extra.

I could get Vista Premium OEM. Worth it?

I grabbed that PSU because I was planning on upgrading to a better card and give this one to my brother sometime in the future.
