I am kind of a tweener. my gaming consists of Madden, Mvp and maybe a little far cry soon. I watch streaming live sports events and dvds. I would like a clear pretty picture.
Would there be a big difference for me between a 6600 and 6800gt? Would sli be something I should consider (6600's)? Is the gaming I do enough to justify a 6800gt as far as picture quality?

Anyway, I dont have sli or even a 6800gt. But I can tell you just from reading around the forum that 2 6600 sli is not worth it as opposed to 1 6800gt.

And yes there is a big dif between 1 6600 and a 6800gt.
