need suggestions on scsi dvd drives

What scsi dvd drives are good?

I'm looking for one below 125 that can also read fast enough to burn 12x on the "fly"

quiet
good performance
from a good company

Well, you really only have two choices. The Pioneer 305S, or Toshiba's SD-1401. I prefer the 305S, but the Toshiba has better DAE. It's your choice. I don't find either particularly loud or unreliable. I just like the Pioneer better. You should be able to find either for around $90-$100 OEM.
