Need suggestions on external CF Reader

I finally got around to ordering my Canon PowerShot G3 the other day and it's supposed to be here Tuesday. I've already got a 256MB Compact Flash card for it, but I want to get an external reader for it so I won't use up the battery power transferring pictures.

I would prefer to get one under $20-30, if I can. I also would like it to be either USB 2.0 or Firewire capable (both if there is such a thing). I've been told that USB 2.0 readers don't provide much (if any) difference over USB 1.1 readers, but I find that very hard to believe.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

Your board is a nForce2 board, so it's got USB 2.0 ports. I just picked up this nifty little CF reader from Sandisk for only $19.99 shipped. It works great and looks good. Also, it's very slim and light, easily transported, and it has rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around due to being so light. It works great with my 256mb CF card and my A40. 🙂

Cool.
I saw that very one yesterday in Staples for $19.99, but was wary about it since it was from Sandisk. I've heard that the Sandisk CF cards tend to read/write slower than most cards, and I was unsure about the quality of the reader.

My Sandisk cf reader (much older than that one, mind you) is a nightmare. So are 2 others I know of.

I'd recommend a different brand...
