Need suggestions for XP install

Current situation----
Dual booting W98SE / XP is the goal. My mobo is an Abit BE6 with onboard HTP366 UDMA 66/33 controller and I've installed latest bios version for the mobo and onboard controller. I have no problem's with the install of W98SE...everything is working great.

When installing XP though it goes through the whole GUI process begins loading installation files / reboots / then goes to the BLUE ***STOP error screen

Has anyone experienced this??? Ideas encouraged. 😕

Peace

Have a diskette ready with HPT366 drivers. Hit F6 when the install process starts, install the HPT366 drivers (XP will ask you if you want to ignore the XP-default drivers and use the ones you've provided. Say "yes"). Hopefully, the BSOD won't come up this time.
