Need suggestions for "price groove" on an AGP card........

While I like eye-candy, my last stint was back in the 9800Pro days. I know there are a lot of better cards available now w/ new numeric callouts & I haven't A CLUE about ANY of them. (I know an FX5200 is on the light side & a 7800 is on the better side & that's about it)

So.............

Buddy wants me to suggest a new vid card for him, but I'm gonna rely on you guys.

Suggestions for best AGP between $50-$100?????

P.S. (forgot cardinal sin).......Gonna be using it for some cad-cam work. (He's a machinist by trade & does some mild design work)

Wait litle and in August you can get X1950PRO AGP cards 256-512mb because Dx10 AGP
video cards will arrive.

To be honest with you, I can't see cards like the AGP X1950Pro or 7900GS/7950GT dropping in price a great deal when the 2600 series makes it to AGP, the 2600 series lags behind the older DX9 cards to much to replace them as the top AGP option...this will keep the older cards prices high compared to similar PCI-E models.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a price drop...it won't happen in August.

Wow RED, that site about immigrants i gona show to my boss, that motherF*K**s counting
like 20 but they are like 30MIL and plus Chinese illegals like 10 mil, but most interesting thing is NO ONE is going to stady ENGLISH and we are losing jobs because of them.
That's why $$$ is going down and got huge deficit.
I don't know how we gona KICK OUT them from the country.
