need suggestions for good case and quiet PS

i'm building a new system with Athlon XP 1900 and a Soyo sy-k7v Dragon+

anyone have any suggestions for a good case and a quiet power source?

I got the Directron.com house branded Aluminum case (model 201) in Silver - it is absolutely beutiful ad very well designed and full of nice little touches - its $149

I also got the enermax 365W FCA PS (the blue one) and it is very nice - the fan adjust met is great and it is very quiet.

I have an XP1800+ system...

I bought the Antec 1030 Mid Server Black case and I love it. Looks great , has the locking removable side door and front door. Many cool extras inside and very expandable.

BTW, it comes with the Antec 300W PSU which is highly rated.

Head over to newegg.com and look up the Enermax, CS-A1QX-02 or -06 case. Both basically the same except for the color scheme. For $50, you get a high quality, good looking case. I recently bought the -02 for my new P4 system and am very pleased with it. The power suppy has a single temp controlled fan an is very quiet, virtually silent. I added a PC Power & Cooling "Silencer" on the back of the case for extra cooling, and with the Intel P4 HSF, my system is very quite.

The blue Enermax I'm assuming is the fan control Enermax, technically that's quieter, because you could just keep the fan on lowest speed. My whisper model seems to stay on a very low RPM anyway.

If the Enermax cases have Enermax power supplies, then yes, it will support both P4 and standard ATX.

Replacing PSU fans aren't very difficult. Just don't go sticking your finger in places where it doesn't belong, you could get a really nasty shock.
