Need suggestions for editing system

Definitely cant afford top of the line, but need something mainly for adobe, avid, canopus and sony (ie vegas/acid) programs. I have a case, PSU, HDD and video card so far. All i need is some recomendations on a CPU, Mobo, and RAM. I have about $500 to spend on those three. Thanks.

BTW I have no desire to overclock.

Video card - motherboard compatibility??? Come one now... AGP or PCIe?

the seller just backed out of the transaction, so it looks like its up in the air now as far as video cards go.
