Need suggestions for cleaning area around stove

The area is covered with grease that can be removed with one's fingernail but most other devices will scratch the surface. A referigerator next to the stove also has yellow grease and it too needs to be cleaned. Any suggestions?

Soap and water and a damp cloth. Whatever is still stuck on will come up with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Also helpful is Barkeeper's Friend.

lol. You actually have to clean things around your home? lol. I just have my maids do menial tasks like that. I can't imagine what it's like being so poor.

Shit, warm water and a rag would have taken care of the problem in less time it would take to run to the computer and make this thread.

Oddly enough, if the OP would have simply cleaned up the kitchen after every use, he wouldn't have this nasty build-up to contend with at all...

If it's as bad as he says it is, only gasoline and a match will do the job.

So everytime you cook a meal, you do more than clean the dishes? You actually go looking for places where the grease may have gone, including the ceiling?

Most people are intelligent enough to anticipate things like flying grease. There's this new contraption called a lid that might come in handy. Good thing we got computers that can come up with all these new fangled devices to help us in our every day lives, eh?

Each time you cook, if you're not a retard, any mess you make will be very very small. It'll take 20 seconds to wipe down the stove and counter with a wet paper towel.

Bam, done.

I have a very handy convenience called a wife that I use to clean the kitchen...but yes, even when I opt to help, the counters get scrubbed after every meal, any grease splatters get cleaned either as they happen, or at the most, after the meal.

Tell me, are you one of those folks who also doesn't worry about cockroaches unless they're 3-4 inches long? Whatcha call them? Cookri?
