My father in law bought a new PC and wants to be able to use it along side of his old one. He is big into scanners(police, fire, and the like) and wants to run/monitor that gear on his old one while using his new one for general PC use. Basically he wants to be able to control two PC's and monitors with one KB/mouse. His KB/mouse is an RF wireless USB set if that makes a difference. I have never messed with them and don't know what is good and what isn't. Thanks for the help.

If you only need KB and Mouse then most any KVM will do. You may even be able to find one for just the KB and Mouse. Though you may want to have the speakers included in that.

It needs to be able to use two monitors. He wants each PC to have its own monitor, just one KB/mouse to control them both.

That means there is no need to use a KVM to switch the video outputs from the two computers. Just keep each computer's monitor hooked up and use the KVM to only switch the Keyboard and Mouse.

How's this one look? All USB with audio for $35. Seems like a winner to me.

edit
As a side note newegg's shipping sucks, same price on amazon with free shipping.
