I am building a new system and it has been a while. I am mainly using it for gaming and school work. All I have to work with is the monitor, keyboard and mouse. These are the parts I am hoping work together, let me know if you see any glaring problems.

There are all the parts. I was looking for some additional cooling for my processor, but wasn't sure what to buy since I could not find any that matched the processor I am planning on purchasing. Also, I know this is a probably a dumb question, but how can I tell if the dvd burner I am purchasing supports dual layer? Thanks again.

First off, the "DL" designation in the optical drive description tells you that it supports Dual Layer. The list of acronyms is supported media types.

That is quite a powerful system. I see no glaring problems with that. The problems you will run into (if any) will be memory module incompatibility and overclocking headroom if applicable. Are you planning on running Vista 64?

You will love that P183, I have a P182 and they are great.

Probably this thread will get locked or moved. I believe these types of posts are supposed to be under "general hardware" sub forum.
