Need suggestion to test my speakers! Please Suggest Music/Songs.

my current setup.
VSX - D510
Sony S600H
Acoustic Research S108PS

the sub is new and im moving everything around now to find the best position, placement.
(one thing I've noticed with the sub is that, the more I play the bass seems to go deeper and stronger. Ex: first day I had it at full volume, since then i had to turn it down again and again because it got too strong.. is this normal?)

right now the setup has receiver/components in the middle.
speakers on each side, and the sub behind the corner on the left speaker.

so far i've tested the setup with my set of music.. including.

Led Zeppelin (BBC, original albums)
STP (all albums, some live acoustic versions)
Vivaldi, Four Seasons-karl Munchinger..
Eric clapton.
Perfect Circle (some live stuff as well).
Beatles (whole bunch...)
BenFolds five (all albums, some live)
Yoyoma (mostly Bach stuff)
Chemical Brother + Dust Brothers
Celine Dion-all by myself (high notes 😉)
Jose Feliciano(all mix)\
Elton John (tiny dancer, dont let the sun.. etc etc..)
Radio Head
George Michael (faith, freedom, last christmas...)
Gorillaz
India Arie
Diana Krall (jazzy stuff, easy listening)
Utada Hikaru (i like her version of fly to the moon as well as her other songs)
Larc En Ciel
Boa
Kim Kun mo (ahhh so many classics...)
JoSungMo
KangTa
GOD
Andrea Bocelli
Three tenors..
Nirvana (Live.. really good)
Queen -Bohemian rhapsody.
Sting (shape of my heart and others)
OutKast
TENACIOUS D, TRIBUTE!<---i love it!
Tool
Weezer

thats all i can think of from top of my head at the moment.. so far they sound good but i want you recommandations.

Please recommand by Artist - song - and what part stands out that I should listen for(clearity, bass, highs, lows, sound stage... etc 😉).
I welcome ANY GENRE of music.
Thank you ~~~

I can suggest pipe organ music. Good recordings test the limit of technology. I'll come up w/ a few titles in a bit.

Stabbing Westward - Darkest Days
lots of bass, lots of treble. The fuzzy sound is supposed to be there too, just so you don't thinkit's your speakers 😉

Queen's Somebody to Love. It's also pretty dynamic and has lots of different vocal textures with lots of subtlety. Good for imaging -- Freddie Mercury's voice at the beginning should be solid and clear and in the middle.

Elton John - Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding - again, very dynamic -- gets very loud and then very soft

Dimitri from Paris - A Night at the Playboy Mansion - great basslines

oh my ! my ears are hurting! it feels like someone is punching my ears with cotton gloves... i have to constantly "pop" my ears ... is this normal??🙂
thanx guys, keep em coming!

Also Sprach Zarathrustra...it's on the 2001:A Space Oddesy soundtrack, if you download it, make sure to get a GOOD rip of it. Outrageous highs, and that tympani is bustin out the bass 🙂

thanx guys, im more than happy with my sub 🙂

now can you guys recommand me some good acoustic guitar songs?

somethign like "Exxtreme-more than words", "get up kids -most depressing song" etc. etc..

thanx!!!
