Dang, I had that but thought it looked too convoluted so I trashed it.
 
Alright, I got pretty close. It should give you an idea of where to go, I might have made some mistakes and not caught them. That's a phi not a sigma, btw. I got
M = 2*P*L*sin(2theta)*[cos(theta - phi)] / sin(phi)
